Ce projet de cotutelle de thèse est porté par l’université de Kosice (2e université du pays après la capitale Brastislava, sur la partie orientale de la République slovaque). Kosice sera, avec Marseille, capitale européenne de la culture en 2013.

C’est tout le champ des études anglicistes qui intéresse nos collègues (English studies). Nicolas Ballier est le porteur scientifique du projet pour Paris Diderot. Les trois laboratoires concernés ont donné leur accord et ont proposé des personnes contacts. Il s’agit de cotutelles en English Studies, les besoins seront également importants en civilisation et les effectifs en étudiants de jeune département d’études anglophones continuent à progresser (plus de cent étudiants en master). Le projet s’appelle Doktorand en vo (PhD student) et est financé par l’un des fonds structurels européens. Le gros de l’accord concerne les sciences naturelles et avait été soumis en juillet 2009.
